Everyone lucchese probably wondering what's going on now that the blog is so quiet. The fact of the matter is, it's cold and wet in the Western Cape, my season at work is in progress, it was school holidays making it a little more quietly made and there was no "races" on the calendar have been do not. This is rapidly changing. Our next "race" is The Burger Mountain Bike Race on August 3, 2013 in Stellenbosch. What have the past three weeks in our lives happen? I Hildegarde and is gaining fitness levels to maintain. Everyone is busy with his own training program. Mine is so 7-9 hours a week on bike. I also started running again - what a torture for me, but I feel it's good for the lung capacity. Hildegarde is busier than ever. Teach, lucchese run, mountain bike, road bike and gym is always on her program. I think the mountain bike bug had bitten her nice now. She is in constant conversations with people who have already completed the Epic and now know much more about what to expect. She also began a biokineticist to see her going to help the right muscles to exercise and get stronger - she will have to help me! Our family - Ouberg Pass Enjoy the fire from above We Ouberg Pass was the last weekend of the school holidays for a getaway to Blesfontein in Sutherland where we are not trained - it was much needed. Lead and Saretha with us, and we had a nice visit and partied. We also have the return stroke drove the same route as me and Lead with bicycles in April did, what an experience! The Church in Sutherland beautiful nature there is very good for the soul and we came back full of energy. The children also had a bit of holiday feeling all the time and asked when it would snow! Dad's answer - never the weekend not. I'm also going to turn my brother there. He blew Saturday at Ellis Park, so it will be a first for me to be there.
